I go to Tesla STEM High School in Redmond WA, a magnet school focused on computer science / engineering. Being ranked the number 12th public high school in the country, STEM's school work is extremely rigorous, with most classes teaching at atleast the AP level (even the honors classes). Although balancing STEM's course work and softball takes some serious time management skills, I've been loving the grind and challenge!
I'm the type of person that loves going to school and learning, but I especially love going to STEM because of the cool science and engineering lab experience that's unlike any other high school. The picture on the left above is of actual bacteria under the microscope from a biology lab; we learned how to take pictures of things under the microscope for lab notebook documentation. On the right is some java code from a project for AP Computer Science A.
