CDC Project

CDC Project

Class: Biology

Description:

For this project, my teacher made up a simulation scenario of a zoonotic disease break. We were given the location of the outbreak (Tristan de Cunha), population, crisis situation in addition to outbreak (storm and fire), and list of available medications. We were also given a list of infected and non-infected people with their symptoms, resting heart rate, age, and home residence.

From their, we had to figure out what the disease is, where and how the outbreak started, how the disease is transmitted, and how to treat it with the available resources.

Biomes Project Flyer

Class: AP Evironmental Science

Description:

This is the individual section of a group project where we had to research a biome. My group researched the chaparral biome, a grassy-ish desert in parts of South America.

For this section, we each had to research a specific species that only lives in the biome we researched. We had to include the its niche, trophic level, and what type of species it is (keystone/indicator). For fun, we each had to include a section about the species's role if a Hunger Games were to be held in our biome.

Photosynthesis + Cellular Respiration

Photo + Resp Project
Page of Project Light Reactoin Dark Reaction Cellular Respiration

Class: Biology

Description:

We had to create a project that explains photosynthesis and respitation at molecular level. I created a "plant cookbook" written in second person as if I am teaching a plant how to "make their food" (photosynthesis) and how to "use their food" (cellular respiration). For a visual aspect, I used my woodworking skills to make a cutting board and tray that has the diagrams of the processes burned on.

CS Final Project

websiteHome
Home Code

Class: AP Computer Science A

Description:

For our final project, we had to create any project (website, app, game, etc). My teacher allowed me to continue working on this website as my project, however, I had to learn something more advanced than just website making. For this project, I made this website repsonsive (works on mobile and desktop) and worked on a responsive cascading navigation bar.

DNA and Protein Synthase

DNA Poster

DNA Poster
DNA Poster

Class: Biology

Description:

For this project, we had to create a poster model that described the processes of DNA replication and protein synthase at the below the molecular level. To make my project interesting, below the informational diagram, I modeled the processes with a TV show (Bonanza), with each aspect and character from the show representing a part of the DNA replication and protein synthase processes.
